About Heat Pump Pros
Heat Pump Pros is an independent directory of heat pump installers in New Zealand, published by John O'Connell. It's for information only. A listing isn't a recommendation, and we don't check the quality of any business's work.
Listings
Listings come from public information and each business's own website, and details can change. Before you hire anyone, check their electrical registration, insurance and written quote with them directly.
Where a business hasn't sent us its own photos, the picture on its listing is an illustration, not a photo of its work.
Verified
A Verified mark means a person checked the business's references, reviews, electrical registration and practising licence, and insurance on the date given, and checks them again each year. It isn't a guarantee or a warranty of any work.
Paid placements
Verified, Featured and Best of are paid and are always labelled. Featured is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Best of is a one-off payment. Paying changes where a business is shown and lets it add its own photos. It never changes the business's Google rating, its review count or what we write about its work.
Claims, corrections and removal
Business owners can claim, correct or remove their listing for free through the contact form, and we make the change within a week. We can decline or remove any listing.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for any loss that comes from using the information here or from hiring a business you found here. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
New Zealand law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
