Who we are
Heat Pump Pros is run in New Zealand by John O'Connell and Sandra Tanner. If you have a question about your information, use the contact form.
Business listings
Each listing is built from public information: the business's Google listing (name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, Google rating and what its reviews talk about) and the business's own website, including links to its social media pages. We don't publish information about private individuals.
Where a business hasn't sent us its own photos, the picture on its listing is an illustration of the kind of work it does, not a photo of its work.
If you own a business and something on your listing is wrong, or you want it taken down, tell us through the contact form. It's free and we do it within a week.
When you send us a form
The Get listed and contact forms send us what you type in, such as your name, email, phone number, business and message, by email so we can reply. It stays in our inbox for as long as we need it to deal with your request. We don't sell it.
The quote form sends us your name, phone, email, town, suburb, the job and any note. We pass that request to one local installer we have checked, so they can contact you about the job, and to no one else. We don’t sell it or use it for marketing. The installer will tell you who they are when they call, and if you want to know who your request went to, ask us through the contact form.
If you pay for Verified, Featured or Best of, the payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card details.
Visit counts
We don't use cookies on visitors, and there's no advertising or tracking code from Google, Facebook or anyone else. We count page views and clicks on phone numbers, websites, maps, directions and social links. With each count we keep the page, the site you came from, the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer) and a rough location (town, region and country) that Cloudflare works out from the connection. We never store your IP address or anything that identifies you.
Who handles it for us
Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the forms and the visit counts. Quote requests are also copied to MoreLeads, the system we use to keep track of requests and which installer they went to. Stripe handles payments.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. We'll reply within 20 working days. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, raise it with us first, and then you can complain to the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
