Ducted Heat Pump Installers in New Zealand

A ducted heat pump hides the indoor unit in the ceiling space or under the floor and sends warm or cool air to each room through ducts and small vents. The installers below say they put in ducted systems, for new builds and for existing homes with room to run the ducting.

Ducted systems are designed for the whole house, so ask each installer how they worked out the size, which rooms get a vent, where the return air grille goes and whether rooms can be controlled separately. EECA's Zoned Energy Rating Label shows heating capacity at 7°C and at 2°C outside, and New Zealand's zone on the label is the one marked Cold; compare quotes for units of the same kW size.
