The Cooling Crew

The Cooling Crew cleans heat pumps and household appliances around Auckland and does not install heat pumps or repair them. Its main job is heat pump cleaning, which it says improves airflow and hygiene, and it also cleans ovens, rangehoods, washing machines, dryers and fridges, with prices starting from $79 including GST. HRV and DVS filter replacement is part of the range. The team does not handle gas, electrical, mechanical or refrigerant faults, so a unit that has stopped working needs a different tradesperson. More than 10,000 homes have been serviced, and the team works throughout Auckland. Customers are asked to mention any existing problem with their unit before the job starts, since cleaning does not fix faults. Rated 4.9 from 370 Google reviews, 360 of them five stars and 6 one star.
