The Alternative Energy Company Ltd

The Alternative Energy Company supplies and installs solar thermodynamic hot water systems from its base in Māpua, with installation and tech support across New Zealand. The Energie system is a solar-assisted air-to-water heat pump that heats all the water for a family home or a commercial business, day and night, with a smart controller offering several operation modes. Domestic and commercial systems are offered, from 250 litres upward, and the same range suits motels, schools and gyms. The company also introduced Eurothane PIR insulation panels to New Zealand. Pages cover central heating and insulation as well as water heating. Rated 4.3 from 9 Google reviews, seven of them five stars. The system works in all seasons and can interface with solar panels, and a Solar Block Ultra version suits colder climates. Past projects include hot water for government offices in Wellington.
