John Stevens Electrical

Tokoroa's longest established air conditioning company is also a seven person electrical contractor, with five electricians and three apprentices on the team. It began installing air conditioners in 1983 and has been a Panasonic Air Conditioning Specialist Dealer since 1990, the only one for the South Waikato. It also holds accreditation as a Fujitsu heat pump installer and works with brands such as Mitsubishi, Daikin, Carrier and Toshiba. Customers get a free in-home consultation to choose a model, a lifetime warranty on the installation of a heat pump or air conditioner (conditions apply), and ongoing care for the unit after the manufacturer's warranty ends, including filter and chassis cleaning. Alongside heat pumps the business handles rural and dairy shed electrical work, solar, pools and filtration, and commercial refrigeration and breakdown maintenance.
